HORSE McDONALD is one of Scotland’s most iconic singer songwriters whose 9 albums have won world wide acclaim and who has toured with headliners like Tina Turner, Burt Bacharach and Bryan Ferry.
But CAREFUL, the award winning play premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe last year, is something of a new departure. Written by Lynn Ferguson and directed by Maggie Kinloch, it tells the story of Horse’s childhood in Lanarkshire, where, as a young lesbian woman, she did indeed have to be careful what she said and did.
The show also has a frank post interval question and answer session moderated by Maggie, and Horse will be playing some audience favourites on her acoustic guitar.
CAREFUL is on May 6th at 8pm, doors open 7.15.
Licenced bar, raffle.
